KLA Schools of Naperville, Naperville West, and Plainfield Spreads Holiday Cheer and Community Spirit
FOR IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE - December 20th, 2023
The spirit of giving and joyous festivities echoed through the halls of KLA Schools of Naperville, Naperville West, and Plainfield as students aged 3 years and above took the stage to spread holiday cheer to their friends and families on Saturday, December 9th. Students from the Plainfield location took the stage at Christ Community Church, while students from the two Naperville locations presented in the auditorium of Yellowbox Church off Ogden Ave.
Bringing pure happiness to all ages, students had the opportunity to participate in the magic by getting their pictures taken with Santa himself. Many students enjoyed sharing special cards and handmade pictures for him to take back home!
The highlight of the festive season was not just the delightful performances but the profound commitment to community engagement that KLA Schools embraced. For the third consecutive year, KLA Schools proudly partnered with Dr. Cathy Subber and The Naperville Branch, serving as one of the primary sponsors of the Giving Tree. “We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Dr. Cathy Subber and The Naperville Branch for the third consecutive year,” said Carrie Hemmer, Admissions Director for KLA Schools.
Families and Educators from KLA Schools rallied support to sponsor ten local families, ensuring that 30 children in need experienced the magic of the holiday season. Through generous contributions and thoughtful gestures, KLA Schools continues to uphold its commitment to making a positive impact on the local community.
KLA Schools of Naper-Plainfield is very thankful for the Parent Partnership that has been established within the schools, and each year, they continue to be blown away with their support for everything they do as a school.
“We believe in fostering a sense of community and compassion among our students," said Erica Koegel, Executive Director at KLA Schools. "The holiday celebration is not only about joy and merriment within our school walls but extends beyond as we actively participate in initiatives like the Giving Tree to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those less fortunate.”
For KLA Schools, it sure has been a year to remember; full of memorable experiences, and many cherished moments with students, families, and educators.
